The Dome is a unique wellness retreat in Ibiza, designed by Bloom Studio, where architecture, nature, and technology come together to create a calm and immersive experience. Concept Installations was responsible for the electrical infrastructure, lighting control, audio systems, and Wi-Fi installation across the site.
The project centres around a striking geodesic dome, supported by outdoor wellness spaces including a sauna and relaxation areas. All technical systems were designed to enhance atmosphere and functionality while remaining intuitive and discreet.
Client Brief & Goals
The objective was to create a wellness environment that feels immersive, flexible, and emotionally engaging. Key requirements included:
- Mood-based lighting to support yoga, meditation, and relaxation
- High-quality outdoor audio distributed evenly across the site
- Integrated sound and lighting within the sauna
- Reliable Wi-Fi coverage throughout the retreat
- Simple, intuitive control for daily operation

Technical Approach & Design Strategy
Concept Installations implemented a basic domotic lighting control system to manage all lighting scenes across the dome, sauna, and exterior areas. Within the geodesic dome, RGBW lighting allows the atmosphere to be adapted to different activities, from calm meditation sessions to more dynamic group classes.
Outdoor audio was delivered using a Sonance Garden Series system configured in an 8.1 layout, ensuring even sound coverage across the landscape without visible speaker clutter. In the sauna, integrated LED lighting and Sonance Extreme speakers allow guests to enjoy music while maintaining durability in high-temperature environments.
Wi-Fi infrastructure was carefully positioned to provide consistent connectivity throughout the retreat, supporting both operational needs and guest use.
