The Can N project involved a large-scale electrical installation for a sprawling estate comprising three separate residences, all featuring high-end Lutron lighting and shading systems. While the audiovisual integration was managed by a UK-based partner, Concept Installations was responsible for all electrical cabling, connections, and the backbone infrastructure for the property. The estate also utilized KNX for HVAC control and Crestron for overarching automation.
Client Brief & Design Intent
For this project, the client required a unified and elegant lighting and shading solution across multiple residences on a single estate. The goal was to integrate Lutron lighting throughout all buildings, ensure robust HVAC management through KNX, and implement a Crestron automation platform to coordinate the entire system.
Technical & Design Strategy
Given the estate’s scale and the presence of three separate homes, the key challenge was ensuring consistent Lutron lighting and shading quality across the entire property. Concept Installations handled the full electrical infrastructure, routing all cabling and ensuring seamless connectivity. KNX was deployed as the backbone for HVAC integration, while Crestron provided the central automation interface.
