Home Cinema in Sant Joan: your questions
How do you handle acoustics in traditional Ibicencan fincas?
The thick, uneven stone walls of traditional fincas in Sant Llorenç can create acoustic challenges like standing waves. We use Lyngdorf’s RoomPerfect™ technology and custom acoustic treatments to calibrate the sound specifically to the dimensions of your room, overcoming structural limitations to deliver studio-grade audio.
Can I have a cinema room with large windows or natural light?
Yes. In sun-drenched areas like Portinatx, ambient light can wash out standard screens. We install high-brightness Sony or Barco projectors and ambient light rejecting (ALR) screens, ensuring your cinema delivers a crisp, high-contrast image even during the bright Balearic day.
Is a dedicated room necessary, or can you use a multi-purpose space?
While dedicated rooms offer the best control, we frequently install 'media rooms' in open-plan villas near Sant Miquel. We use motorised drop-down screens and in-ceiling speakers that remain hidden until needed, allowing the space to function as a social lounge most of the time.
Do you offer outdoor cinema installations for coastal villas?
Absolutely. We can design outdoor cinema systems for terraces in Cala de Sant Vicent using weather-proof displays or high-lumen projectors and marine-grade speakers. These systems are built to withstand the salt air and humidity of coastal northern Ibiza.
Can you help with internet stability for 4K streaming in rural Sant Joan?
Connectivity in the rural north can be inconsistent. As part of our installation service, we can enhance your property's network infrastructure with high-speed Starlink or point-to-point links, ensuring your 4K streaming and Dolby Atmos content playback is seamless and uninterrupted.
